Because of this, I decided to make my first post about Harvest 2013.
We had over 25 combining days this year and man, were they busy!
I work full time as an accountant, commute 1hr a day, and we have a very active 22 month old (K). N works very long hours and we don't get much sleep.
All in all, everything went quite well. The big issue was the rain that came in and stuck around for a few days. We were able to get all the crop off before any snow flew and we got to try a few new things on the farm like a grain cart and bagger system. N was so excited on the first day they used it!
We are so thankful for our families and friends for being so supportive. A special thank you goes out to N's youngest brother and one of the neighbors who come help us out every year. We truly appreciate it!
